July Skincare Obsessions
Although I try to be consistent with my skincare routine, I occasionally like to test new products, depending on which skin issues I want to address! Although its hard to only choose a few, here’s a short and sweet post dedicated to the products I’m currently loving:
Berlin Skin – Cocoa Eye Butter // my under-eye area always feels dry so I love how hydrating this eye treatment is! Packed full of cocoa butter, vitamin C, carrot seed oil, and other plant-based oils, this #cleanbeautybrand is soothing, anti-aging, and free of synthetic ingredients.
Berlin Skin – Sandalwood Cream // This moisturizer is one of my all time favorite products. This cream feels luxurious but lightweight, and it makes my skin feel so hydrated! No synthetic fragrances or ingredients are added, but you can smell one of the key ingredients, sandalwood (it’s anti-aging and also helps clean and prevents breakouts). It also includes aloe, jojoba oil, lavender, geranium, and other natural/organic ingredients.
NUORI – Vital Foaming Cleanser // I feel like I’m getting a facial every time I use this cleanser. I spend about 30 seconds lathering on the product while massaging my face! Its luxurious and gentle, and doesn’t strip my skin of its natural oils. I also love that it’s made with clean, non-toxic ingredients and makes me feel so refreshed after. Available at Credo.com.
Juice BEAUTY – Green Apple Peel Full Strength Exfoliating Mask // Exfoliating is an important part of my weekly skincare ritual, so I was pretty excited to test out this mask! Its key ingredients are alpha and beta hydroxy fruit acids, which help target discoloration, dark spots, uneven skin tone, and fine lines. Something to note is that this mask is not recommended for people with very sensitive skin or rosacea. There was a slight tingling sensation (which is normal), but it felt lightweight.
Kjaer Weis – Facial Oil // I got a sample of this luxurious product at my local Credo and instantly fell in love (but wanted to cry when I saw the price point of the full size version). If you have the budget (or if you get your hands on one of their sample-size bottles like i did) I think you’ll love this luxurious facial oil! It’s packed with cold-pressed oils from wild rose, sweet almond, olive, jojoba, and Chinese yam. It immediately adds a healthy, dewy glow to my skin, and is excellent as a lightweight facial moisturizer or primer under your makeup.
IOPE – Bio Essence Facial Mask // I’ve always loved Korean sheet masks- they’re soothing and hydrating and super easy to use. IOPE’s version uses bio-enzymes to promote brighter and smoother skin.
