Last year I started transitioning over to clean beauty products, so its important for me to find a signature fragrance that not only smells divine, but is also free of potentially harmful chemicals like phthalates and parabens.

First Impressions // Their Avant Garden collection’s packaging and brand esthetic looks luxurious and classy, like something you’d find at a high-end department store or boutique. Based on scent, their Nude Santal & Heliotrop is a heavenly and energizing fragrance that makes me feel ready to take on the day. With notes of fig and spicy ginger, its an empowering scent!
Complex and beautiful notes // I love the rich complexity of Nude Santal & Heliotrop’s top, middle and base notes, giving it a mix of softness and strength. With citrus and cinnamon top notes, subtle floral medium notes, and lasting base notes of vanilla, cedarwood, and sandalwood, this scent is sweet, earthy, and invigorating. I don’t leave the house without it.
Behind the Scenes // What I admire about CLEAN’s collection is their commitment to using non-toxic, sustainable, ethically-sourced, and cruelty-free ingredients. Many perfumes on the market contain potentially irritating and environmentally unfriendly additives. So I’m impressed when a brand sets a higher standard for itself and considers their impact on the earth, supports small farming communities around the world, and uses clean formulations without harsh chemicals.
