Helps products absorb better
Steaming helps open up your pores and improves the skin’s ability to better absorb serums and oils that are applied to it. After steaming for 5–10 minutes, immediately apply your serum or sheet mask.
Extra hydration
Face steaming helps provide skin cells with water. Using steam to hydrate skin, followed by serums and a good moisturizer can plump skin and help it hold onto its water.
Plump Skin
The heat and increased blood flow from steaming promotes increases circulation in your face. This gives skin a plump, bouncy look. Better circulation to your face can mean fewer fine lines and wrinkles, a healthy glow, and less active acne.
Release of acne bacteria and sebum
Steam can clean out acne-causing bacteria and contribute to breakouts and can help your acne products work better.
