SUPPLIES
- Empty beauty bottles, thrifted vases or jars of various sizes and shapes
- Paint – I used 8 oz samples sizes from KILZ TRIBUTE on Amazon in Satin, Bright Marigold, & Penny Luck
- Paint brush – I used this 1.5 inch soft grip brush on Amazon
- Baking Powder – It creates a puffy texture to the paint, making your vases look more like handmade ceramics
- Something to mix the paint in (I used plastic cups)
- Dried or fresh florals
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1:
Add your paint to the mixing cup. A little goes a long way!
Step 2:
Add your baking powder. Start with a tablespoon and adjust the texture by adding more. The more you add, the thicker and courser the paint texture becomes.
Step 3:
Brush the mix onto your jars! I did two coats! Dry in a safe place.
Step 4:
Once dry, add some dried or fresh florals to your jars and pots! Display them by your window, on a dinner table, or throughout your home!
